Coutinho was heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in the summer but despite the player’s will to move to the Nou Camp, Liverpool received and rejected bids, the last of which was £118million, and they dug their heels in over the Brazilian.
Paris Saint-Germain have contacted the representatives of Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
Spanish publication Sport claims that PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi alongside sporting directors Antero Henrique and Maxwell are said to be keen to facilitate the 25-year-old’s potential move to the French capital.
PSG are reportedly doing everything within their power to stop Coutinho’s move to Spain at the turn of the year in order to make a move for him in the next summer transfer window.
Coutinho is less than a year into a new five-year deal he signed in January which sees him earn £150,000 a week, making him the Reds’ highest-paid player. The Brazilian has already contributed with three goals and one assist for the Merseyside club this season.
