Barcelona are considering meeting Antoine Greizmann’s buy-out clause at Atletico Madrid.
Barcelona have long been admirers of the French forward and they could strike a bargain for €110million.
The reason Ernesto Valverde is thinking about moving so early is because Griezmann’s price will almost double to €200m in the summer.
If the deal goes through then Atletico are thought to want to target Monaco’s Thomas Lemar as Griezmann’s replacement, according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
