FC Barcelona target Philippe Coutinho has opened up about his current situation and happiness at Premier League outfit Liverpool.
The Brazil international, who was seen as a replacement for the departed Neymar at the Catalan giants, was the centre of a very public transfer saga that saw the player hand in a transfer request to join the Blaugrana at the beginning of this season, which Liverpool rejected.
The player has now claimed he is happy with the way things are on Merseyside, and is enjoying life right now.
“I’m playing in one of the biggest leagues in the world,” Coutinho said, as quoted by FourFourTwo.
“I’m always happy. But now it’s essential to concentrate on the national team.
“At the moment I am very happy with my life.”
The attacker has not featured for club or country since 22 October due to a muscle injury, but is expected to face England with the Selecao at Wembley on Tuesday.
