Paulinho says that Philippe Coutinho would not regret it if he chooses to leave Liverpool for Barcelona and jested that his Brazil team-mate could have a home ready and waiting for him in the event he does complete a Barca switch.
Coutinho was subject to several bids from the club during the summer and even made a transfer request to boost his chances of joining.
Coutinho’s Seleção teammate told Mundo Deportivo
“The city already knows of his time with Espanyol, I talk about the facilities, and the training, the group, the way the group received me that was spectacular.
“I make jokes that people are already looking for a house for him. I try to give him the basic information, the most important for him and his family, because maybe the time he lived here was not enough to know the city.
“But he knows that Barcelona is a very good city, that offers everything for him and his family.”
Paulinho also believes a player like Coutinho would thrive in La Liga, “It is very fast and agile, with a different technique, which gives many options for us who play in the middle of the field. Also it allows you to search for free spaces in the field to get to the goal.
“Its technical quality is its differential. In the team, you can play in two or three positions and I think this helps the coach and the players.”
