Neymar spoke to beIN SPORTS on Tuesday, he needs to learn from the red card he was shown against Malaga, which saw him suspended for the Clasico at Real Madrid.
“I harmed myself and I’ve learned a lot from what happened,” Neymar told beIN SPORTS.
Red card against Malaga? “I think that the second booking was correct, it was my foul, for trying too hard to go for the ball.”
“I know that I have to learn from this. But the first card shouldn’t have been shown.”
Missing El Clasico? “I don’t like to watch football at home but when my teammates play, I always watch them when I’m not on pitch.”
“That happened with the Clasico. I really wanted to be there but I had to suffer at home until right at the end.”
“When it ended, I called them up and we all started celebrating. Even though I was far away, I was there with them.”
Neymar was suspended for El Clasico, but still found a way into the Barcelona dressing room. Lionel Messi held up his phone which had the Brazilian on FaceTime as they posed for a picture.
