Luis Suarez felt Barcelona “deserved more” from their 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.
Suarez scored with a header from close range in the 82nd minute to leave Barcelona five points ahead of Real Madrid.
“Everyone knows that Atletico defend very well and have a great goalkeeper,” he said after the game.
“We had the feeling that we deserved more in the second half. It’s difficult to participate, I had to work hard on and off the ball.
“After being a goal down for a lot of the game, it was complicated and we have to accept [the result], but I think we had more chances than them.
“My goal? It ensured we didn’t lose. What we want is to keep going like this.”
