Jesé spoke to Sportium ahead of Las Palmas’ clash against Barcelona this weekend on Sunday at the same time as Madrid host Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabeu and said he wants to derail Barcelona’s title bid.
“My goal is to play well and help the team.
“MSN are very good players, but I’d prefer others. Real Madrid and Barcelona both have very good squads with footballers waiting for their chance on the bench.”
“Scoring vs Barça, so Real Madrid win Liga? I like to score every game but if that’s the case, so Madrid win, then definitely yes. I won’t lie.” he told Sportium
“By applying pressure high up the pitch we can make Barca feel uncomfortable, we’ll be able to inflict damage on them by doing this.”
Las Palmas and former Real Madrid striker Jese Rodriguez has scored three goals in 14 LaLiga appearances for Las Palmas. the 24-year-old is determined to add to that tally to give Madrid a helping hand in a thrilling title tussle.
