As his contract will reach an end by 2018, Andres Iniesta was spotted by the eagle eyed Chinese super league executives. He reportedly turned down two monumental offers by the league; one of them with a sum total of 35 Million Euros. Despite his rejection, the executive team is not holding back and persistent on making Iniesta the new member of the league.
The representatives of Iniesta are his former team mate Carles Puyol and Ramos Sostres; the two were not convinced that such a deal was that enticing financially. Neverthless, he was offered a two year deal by Josep Maria. Due to his injury, Iniesta played only 39 percent of the sum total. Barcelona is much more concerned with offering Leo Messi an alluring deal.
Iniesta’s new status as a two-club player is not a far reaching possibility. Since Xavi did it before him due to Enrique’s decision to place Ivan Rakitic in a central role, reducing by that Xavi’s official play time.
The occasion of World cup is another reason, since Iniesta is pivotal for Spain in its defy against Russia. Opting for China may not currently be in the odds for Iniesta.
