Guangzhou’s new signing could open the door for Paulinho

Felipe Scolari Guangzhou has undertaken an action that could be responsible for Paulinho’s potential and permanent move to Barcelona. As the Chinese transfer market had a limited time, but before its closure Guangzhou decided to sign a new player. The Brazilian Muriqui from Vasco de Gama was the target.

The player had a rough time within the Brazilian club, yet, he managed to transfer to the Chinese football team for free.

Despite the fact that the allotted time for the Chinese’s club transfer expired on the 14th of July, yet; they can still sell players. Guangzhou might have latent motives to sell Paulinho to Barcelona after they signed Muriqui, since the Chinese super league grants the permission to have only three foreigners in official matches, while Guangzhou has five foreigners in their squad for the time being.
