Barcelona has long sought to admit Hector Bellerin in to the squad. But first, they had to initiate negotiations with the long acquainted Arsenal, with which they carried a number of deals. Chief among these transfers, was the one concerning Cesc Fabregas. Since Arsenoal has eyes on a 40 or 60 Million Euros offers, hence Barca sought to present a relatively low offer as a precaution.
Presenting a deal of 25 Million euros might not be met with eyebrow rising, since Ivan Gazidis is tough when it comes to financial matters. Hence, it is expected that Raul Sanllehi will be travelling up to London soon to initiate negotiations.
Until Barcelona is ready to put forward a deal that would meet Arsenal standards and satisfy its economic motives, Bellerin is being kept out of small talks and being charged with U21 European championship preparations.
To officially sign Fabregas, it took approximately about 300 letters to settle matters. To devise counter-measures, Barcelona are planning to advance step by step in order not to be alleged kept from finalizing Bellerin’s deal.
