Arsene Wenger wants Marc-Andre ter Stegen

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is weighing up a move for Marc-Andre ter Stegen to replace Petr Cech as the Gunners number one at the end of the season, according to a report in the Express.
However, it looks like Wenger will face competition across Europe for ter Stegen’s signature, with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain both thought to be monitoring the German’s situation at the Nou Camp.
Ter Stegen, 25, has been with Barcelona since 2014, after leaving Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach to be Barca’s number two, however, since Claudio Bravo joined Manchester City last year, the German international has made the step up to fill his boots.
The keeper has been thought of as one of Europe’s top keepers during the last year, and with Petr Cech potentially heading towards the final few years of his career, Wenger may see this as an opportunity to replace him with ter Stegen.
