Dani Alves was back at Camp Nou on Tuesday for the first time since leaving Barcelona on a free transfer last summer, where he said a lot of things would have to change for him to ever consder returning to the club on a permanent basis.

The Brazilian admits he will be emotional facing “best team in the world” Barcelona, but Juventus have “60%-40% chance to going through”.

Dani Alves: “I’m happy to be back at Camp Nou; it gives me positive energy.”

“I was a happy person here in Barça, but now when I enter the stadium I will leave behind all my feelings.”

Would Dani Alves return to Camp Nou as a player?

“I always give 100% with every club i play it. It was wonderful here, Barça has to change many things, but some people’s egos won’t let them change. That’s why I don’t think I will go back there.”

“Some people loved me in Barcelona and soe didn’t. The Catalans are special people, my lifestyle doesn’t really fit in with what they like or what they think it ought to be. I don’t know what the reception will be, but I am happy to be back at somewhere i considered my home, even as a rival”

“I don’t regret leaving, but I left behind beautiful memories in Barça. I’m a professional player now and I defend Juve’s colors.”

“It’s 60% us, 40% them. I can’t help Barça now.”

Does Dani Alves fear Andres Iniesta and Leo Messi could follow him out of Camp Nou?

“I think everyone here deserves a statue. It’s important that clubs appreciate people and not just shove then aside when they are no longer needed”

“Barça players are highly skilled and know what they should do. We also know that we’re facing the best team in the world.”
